Betty Jo Price Nicely, 66, of Louisa, Ky. passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Ky.

She was born May 4, 1947 in Louisa, Ky. a daughter of the late Haskel and Martha Helen Stone Price. She was a homemaker, and attended First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include, her husband, Joseph Nicely of Greenup, Ky.; three daughters, Rachelle Shepherd of Hanover, In.; Nikki Cannatelli of Lake Mary, Fl.; Marti Fairchild of Louisa, Ky.; four grandchildren; one brother, Mark Price of Ashland, Ky.; two sisters, Jan Fultz of Ashland, Ky.; Susie Chambers of Louisa, Ky. 

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donna Aros officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Louisa, Ky.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm til 3:00 PM Saturday at Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Lydia Eloise Robertson

1936 - 2013

 

Lydia Eloise Robertson, age 77, of Louisa, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Mrs Robertson was born March 3, 1936 in Whitehouse, KY. She is the daughter of the late Harlan Lee and the late Fonnie (Waddle) Short. 

She was a Homemaker. 

She is survived by her husband Jack Edward Robertson, one daughter, Brenda (Ernest) Swafford of Louisa, KY, and one son, Jack E. (Patsy) Robertson Jr of Lexington, KY. Survivors also include 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her son, Steven Eugene Robertson. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Cordial officiating. Burial will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens.

Calling hours will be Thursday, May 9 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.

Nola Scaggs

1926 - 2013

Nola Scaggs, 86, of Louisa, KY passed away Monday May 6, 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center following a brief illness. Nola was born Oct. 26, 1926 at Inez, KY, the daughter of the late Elzie and Elizabeth Hammonds Bowen. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Junior Scaggs, who died Feb. 1988, a step daughter Louellen Scaggs, sisters Laurabell Spaulding, Opal Stevens, and Sena Hale, brothers Homer and John Bowen, and uncle Jim Hammonds.

She is survived by five daughters, Kathyrn (Bill) Hodson of Xenia, OH, Phyllis (Johnny) Robertson, Wanda (Alger) Maxie, Della (Ed) Cordle, and Rosalee (Jim) Childers all of Louisa; seven sons Eddie (Jean) Scaggs of Xenia, OH, Larry (Sharon) Scaggs, Howard Scaggs, Harold (Peggy) Scaggs, Doug (Charlotte) Scaggs, Michael (Sherry) Scaggs all of Louisa, KY, Jamie (Victoria) Scaggs of Portugal and stepson Dallas Scaggs of Detroit, MI; 31 Grandchildren and 34 Great Grandchildren.  

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday May 8th at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Jimmy Osborne. Burial will follow in the Scaggs Cemetery at Louisa.

Larry "Joe" Damron

1938 - 2013

Larry "Joe" Damron, 74 of Ft. Gay, WV. passed away in his loving wife's arms and his children by his side Saturday at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. He was born September 23, 1938 in   Amherstdale, WV. to the late James Nibert and Mary Browning Damron. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters: Shirley Tyree and Sandra Wellman. 

Joe was a Navy Veteran and served at the Naval Security Station in Washington, D.C. He retired from General Motors in 1994 with 35 years service as a machine repairman. He was a former member of the Taylor Town Community Church for over 20 years, and a member of the Fort Gay Baptist Church. He was the chairman of the Fort Gay High School Golf Tournament for 13 years. 

Surviving is his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Jo Perry Damron of Fort Gay, WV. son; Larry Jeff and Dawn Damron of Lexington, KY., daughter; Johnna Leigh Damron-Downs and Steve of Fort Gay, WV., three grandchildren; Arin Damron, Zachary James Damron, and Katie Grace Damron all of Lexington, KY. Brothers; John Nelson Damron of Granite City, IL., Nibert "Hawk" Damron II and Frances of Grove City, OH., and Thomas Earl Damron of Huntington, WV., Sister; Linda Faye Kelly and Aubrey of Satellite Beach, FL. 

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11am at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Tim Preston offficiating. Burial will follow in the Ratiliff Cemetery, Bromley Ridge, Fort Gay, WV.

Visitation will be 6-9 Monday at Young Funeral Home Chapel.
 

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to your choice; Fort Gay Baptist Church, Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. or the Fort Gay High School Alumni Association.

Opal Pinkerton Bradley

1913 - 2013

Opal Pinkerton Bradley, 99, of Louisa, went to her heavenly home Friday, April 26, 2013 in Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Ky after a brief illness.
 

Mrs. Bradley was born December 1, 1913 in McRoberts, Ky. a daughter of the late Lewis and Daisy Rice Pinkerton.
 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Bradley; two sisters, Naomi Pinkerton Hammond, and LaHome Pinkerton (infant); brother, William Allen Pinkerton (infant); and two grandsons, Bill and Tim Gray.

She is survived by a sister, Imogene Pinkerton Svitek (Edward) of Mesa, Arizona; three sons, Darrell (Louise), Tom (JoAnn), Steve (Barbara), all of Louisa, Ky.; four daughters, Laura Gray, Wanda Miller Hayes, both of Louisa, Ky, Agnes Lyon (Jim) of Lake Wales, FL., Phyllis (Larry) Dotson of Arnold, MO; seventeen grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.

She was a charter member of Dennis Chapel Methodist church and member of Green Valley Homemakers and Lawrence County Democrat Womens Club. She was also a Kentucky Colonel.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, April 29, 2013 at Louisa United Methodist Church with Rev. Gordon Crisp, Rev. Bobby Workman, and Rev. Jimmy Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Yatesville Memorial Gardens, Louisa, Ky.

Jack R. Cyrus

1941 - 2013

Jack R. Cyrus, 71, of Flatwoods, KY passed away Thursday April 25, 2013 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital following a sudden illness.  

Jack was born June 15, 1941 in Louisa, KY the son of the late Jeff and Pearl Boggs Cyrus. He was a retired crane operator and maintance employee of Armco Steel. 

Survivors include his loving wife, Carolyn McKenzie Cyrus, a daughter Cindy Thomas and husband Shane of Rush, KY; two sons Mark Cyrus of Russell, KY and Phillip Cyrus and wife Susan of Fort Payne, AL; two brothers Billy Joe Cyrus and Scott Cyrus both of Louisa, KY and a sister Nola Wellman also of Louisa; seven grandchildren Jacob Thomas, Joseph Thomas, Joshua Cyrus and wife Mary, Miranda Cyrus, Jason Cyrus and wife Heather, Johnathon Cyrus, and Kayrn Cyrus; four great grandchildren Starlynn Coffey, Bresea Cyrus, Jax Cyrus, and Ellie Grace Cyrus. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday April 28th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Muncy officiating. Burial will follow in the Cyrus Family Cemetery at Louisa.

Charles Kay McCormick

1957 - 2013

Charles Kay McCormick 55 of Huntington, WV passed away Thursday April 25, 2013 at his home.

Charles was born Oct. 10, 1957, the son of Charles E. and Nannie Spillman McCormick. He was a former employee of the Veterans Administration and a United States Army Veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife Joyce McCormick.  

Survivors include his parents Charles and Nannie Spillman of Huntington, WV; two daughters Francesca O’Toole and husband TJ, and Alexandria Steimer and husband Michael; three sons Alex Steimer of Bossier City, LA, Charles Allen McCormick of MI, and Matthew McCormick of Huntington, WV; three grandchildren Isabella Steimer, Lucy Steimer, and Owen O’Toole; a sister Juanita Eller and husband Chris also of Huntington, WV; nieces Melissa Bowen and Amber Bowen; aunt Dorothy Spilllman of Columbus, OH, and uncle Carl Spillman of Delaware, OH.   

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday April 25th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Darrell Brewer. Burial will follow with military honors at the Yatesville Memorial Gardens Louisa, KY.

Dallas Waller, 71, of Louisa, Ky. passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at his home. He was born May 31, 1941 in Fort Gay, W.Va. a son of the late Charlie and Cora Bowens Waller. He was retired from Jefferies Mining Machinery Co. where he was a heat treater.
 

Survivors include one brother, James Waller of Louisa, Ky.; one sister, Helen Fields of Las Vegas, NV.; Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 PM Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Copley Cemetery, Webb, W.Va.

Dianna Sue Cunningham

1949 - 2013

Dianna Sue Cunningham, 63, passed away on Jan. 2, 2013 in San Diego, CA after a long battle with cancer. She was born on Sept. 26, 1949 in Columbus, OH to the late Bud Brobst and Gaynell Wilson. Also proceeded in death by her stepfather Dewey E. Wilson, Sr.
 

She was a longtime resident of Columbus until moving to San Diego in 1998 after working for the city of Columbus for 30 years. While in San Diego she worked at Con Am Management as a dedicated Compliance Manager.

Survived by her loving daughter Ashley (Joe) Denhalter of San Diego; one grandson Gavin; one brother Dewey E. (Yuko) Wilson Jr. of Phoenix, AZ. She was married to Robert Cunningham who also survives; along with several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.

Graveside services will be Saturday, April 27, 2013 11:00 AM at the John H. Wilson Cemetery in Louisa, KY.  Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home, Louisa, KY.

Mabel Marie (VanHoose) Cook

1926 - 2013

Mabel Marie (VanHoose) Cook, 87, of Louisa, Ky. passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Ky. of a sudden illness.

Mabel was born in Chestnut, Ky. on January 4, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Charley and Falsom (Blankenship) VanHoose.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben P. Cook and two sons; Randy and Tommy Cook. Mabel was a charter member of the Richardson Chapel Primitive Baptist Church.

Mabel is survived by two daughters: Sharon (Darrell) Ratliff, Pamela (Bob) Bartlett, one son, Lonnie (Tara) Cook and one daughter-in-law, Nancy Cook, one brother, Jessie VanHoose of Ohio, two sister-in-laws, Edith VanHoose and Pauline Cook, 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, special niece Colleen Webb and several wonderful nieces and nephews to mourn her passing.

Mabel had very special neighbors who helped her life to be easier in anyway they could, Cathy, Margaret, and Julia Burke and a host of friends she had met through the years that were special. She will be missed by all that met her.

Funeral services will be 11a.m. Tuesday at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Elders Darrell Ratliff, David VanHoose, and Roger VanHoose officiating. Visitation will be 4-9 Monday at Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Louisa, Ky.

 

Granville Senters, Sr.

1936 - 2013

Granville Senters, Sr., age 76, of Louisa, went to be with the Lord  Saturday, April 20, 2013 at J.J. Jordan Geriatric Center of Louisa, KY.  Granville was born June 12, 1936 in Louisa, KY. He is the son of the late William and the late Alvie (Thompson) Senters. 

He was a Retired Chrysler Corporation Employee and member of the Bradley Gap FWB Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Christa (Fields) Senters,  three sons; Granville Senters Jr. and wife Kathy of Louisa, KY, Joe Carl Senters of Louisa, KY, Milton Daniel Senters and wife Pamela of Catlettsburg, KY;   He also has four grandchildren; Jillian Senters, Granville Senters III, Ethan Senters, and Evan Senters.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Hackworth and Rev. Jim Osborne officiating.  Burial will be in Smith Cemetery, Sidney, WV.

Bro. Larry Francis Lyon

1949 - 2013

Bro. Larry Francis Lyon, 63, of Blaine, KY went to be with his Lord on Friday April 19th following a brief illness.  

Larry was born June 27, 1949 in Louisa, the son of the late Ogly ad Frances “Frankie” Smith Lyon. He retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation, and was a member of the Blaine Freewill Baptist Church. 

Larry was a active musician for Church and Radio Broadcasts. He loved to play the guitar and mandolin.  

He is survived by a brother, Joe Lyon of Blaine and several cousins and friends.  

Bro. Rick Cordial and Bro. Bonda Salyers will conduct funeral services on Monday April 22nd at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens.

Kenneth Wilbur Hall, 41 of Ashland, KY. passed away Monday at home. He was born May 19, 1971 in Fairborn, Ohio to the late Charles and Charlotte Thompson Hall. He was a Laborer at the Smithville Plant.

Terry Lee Jude, age 56, of Louisa, Ky. died Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Community Hospice Care Center of Ashland, KY.  Terry was born October 16, 1956 in Paintsville, KY. He is the son of the late William Cullen and the late Shirlie May (Sloan) Jude. 

He was a carpenter. 

He is survived by his wife, Drema Gail (Hickman) Jude, two sons; Terry Michael Jude of Chapman, KY, Shannon Lee Jude of Louisa, KY;   daughter-in-law, Michelle Jude of Chapman, KY; daughter-in-law, Nicole Jude of Louisa, KY. And 7 grandchildren.

Predeceased by his father, William Cullen Jude, mother, Shirlie May Sloan Jude.

Charles Ray "Charlie" Kirk, 56, of Adams, Ky. passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at his home. He was born October 7, 1956 in Louisa, Ky. a son of Elneada Moore Kirk and the late Don Kirk. He was a heavy equipment operator, and attended Isaac Park Church. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by, brother, Ricky Kirk; sister, Debra Kirk and granddaughter, LeTemarra McDowell.

Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Brenda Prince Kirk of Adams, Ky.; daughter, Tammy (Michael) Ferguson of Sitka, Ky.; mother, Elneada Kirk of Lowmansville, Ky.; sister, Sharon (William) King of Lowmansville, Ky.; one granddaughter, Natasha; two grandsons, Tristan and Brayden; one step granddaughter, Desirae; one step grandson, Michael; two nieces and 2 nephews.

Imogene Fannin, 83, of Blaine, Ky. passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Paul B. Ball Medical Center in Paintsville, Ky. She was born July 30, 1929 in Fort Gay, W.Va. a daughter of the late Charlie and Rosanne Perkins Wheeler. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Felty Fannin and several children.

Survivors include, seven daughters, Goldie Fannin of Virginia; Nolie Thornsbury of Morehead, Ky.; Velvie Mayhan of Blaine, Ky.; Pearl Christian of Huntington, W.Va.; Lori Fannin of Louisville, Ky.; Jenna Bell of Louisville, Ky.; Brenda Fannin of Florida; six sons, Henry Fannin of Louisa, Ky.; Delbert Fannin of Ironton, Ohio; Elbert Fannin of Chilocothe, Ohio; Andy Fannin of Louisville, Ky.; James Fannin of Ashland, Ky.; Delmer Lee Fannin of Louisa, Ky.; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Bonnie Sue McKenzie

1946 - 2013

Bonnie Sue McKenzie, age 67, of Webbville, died Monday, April 15, 2013 at home in Webbville.  Bonnie was born March 21, 1946 in Webbville, KY. She is the daughter of the late Charles and the late Goldie (Presley) Sprouse.  She married Johnny Mack McKenzie.
 
She was a Homemaker.
 
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Mack McKenzie and three daughters; Shirley Keaton of Martha, KY, Brenda Howell of Danville, VA, Barbara Moore of Webbville, KY;  Sister of two sisters; Lilly Mullins of AZ, Roberta Faye Sprouse of Webbville, KY; she also has seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Grandson, Ian Vanhorn of Louisa, KY; Grandson, Mack Henery of Danville, VA; Grandson, Tyler McKenize of Webbville, KY; Grandson, Ethan McKenize of Webbville, KY; Grandson, Johny (J.J) McKenize of Webbville, KY; Grandson, Homer Moore of Webbville, KY; granddaughter, Monica Henery of Danville, VA; great granddaughter, Maya Garcia of Danville, VA.

William Ray Tash

1952 - 2013

William Ray Tash, 60, of Pilgrim, Ky. passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at V.A. Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va. He was born December 16, 1952 in Borden, Indiana, a son of the late Raymond and Julia Griffith Tash. He was a United States Marine Vietnam Veteran, and a member of the V.F.W. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Gish.

Survivors include, son, Dustin Tash of Pirgrim, Ky.; daughter, Misty Slone of Willard, Ohio; 8 Grandchildren; four brothers, Richard Tash of Plymouth, Ohio; Randy Tash of Willard, Ohio; Jerry Tash of Shelby, Ohio; and Terry Tash also of Shelby, Ohio; sister, Shirley Foley of Plymouth, Ohio;

Eunice Lee Mayo

1964 - 2013

Eunice Lee Mayo 49 of Richardson, KY went to be with her Lord on Saturday April 13, 2013 at her residence. 
 

Eunice was born Feb. 11, 1964 in Louisa, the daughter of the late Douglas and Sena Bowens Hale. She was a Bakery Supervisor at Louisa Walmart.

Eunice’s trust was in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Hale Jr.

Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years John Kelly Mayo, two daughters and son-in-laws; Krissie and Chad Mosley and Heather and Christopher Deyo, a son and daughter-in-law John C. and Brittany Mayo; three very special grandchildren Addison Lynn Mayo, Arionna Mayo, and Jackson Mayo; two brothers Edward Hale and Homer Hale, and a sister Missy Boggs, many nieces and nephews and a wonderful mother-in-law, Joan Mayo.

She enjoyed working, playing with her grandchildren and all her friends, one friend that was dear to her heart, Ima Jean Messer.

A special thanks to all the ladies at Kings Daughters IV Therapy for their care and compassion.

Anna Naomi (Nanie) Hall

1928 - 2013

Anna Naomi (Nanie) Hall, 84, of Prichard, W.V. went to be with the Lord Friday, April 12, 2013 while at home with her family at her side.

She was born December 11, 1928 in Prichard, W.V. the daughter of the late Dency and Pearl Stewart Hazlett. She was the widow of the late Billy C. Hall. She was preceded in death by three daughters; Billie J. (Homer) Robertson, Kathy A. (Butch) Powell and Marsha L. (Jessee) Robertson, three grandchildren, and four siblings.

She is survived by two daughters, Beverly June (Joe) Ekers and Carol Anne (Wally) Smith with whom she resided. Also surviving are 9 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 7 siblings and a special friend, Ileta Willis.

She was an active long time member of Community Chapel Church. She was an employee of Wayne Co. Community Services.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, April 1, 2013 at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Walter Smith and Rev. Samuel Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Bean Cemetery, Prichard, W.V.

Roy Frank Pauley

1924 - 2013

Roy Frank Pauley (89) passed away peacefully at his home in Louisa, Ky. on April 11, 2013 after an extended illness.  He was born in SaltPetre, West Virginia (Wayne County), on January 22, 1924, the son of William and Victoria Ailif Pauley.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Pauley of Ona, West Virginia and a sister, Mavis Pauley Martin of Fort Gay, WV.
 

Frank is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Peggie Grace Pauley and his three children, Frank Ray Pauley (Sandy) of Fort Gay, W.V. , Rodney Pauley (Sharon), Vicki Pauley Bradley (Bill) all of Louisa, Ky., eight grandchildren and five great-ganddaughters.
 
Frank was a graduate of Fort Gay High School class of 1943.  During WWII he served in the United States Army as a high-speed diesel engineer. Later, Frank was employed by N&W Railroad as a telegraph operator. From 1948-1955, he was the owner and operator of Pauley's Grocery in Williamson, WV.  Frank and his wife then moved to Fort Gay, WV where he established Frank's Market which he ran from 1956-1976.  After retiring, Frank was employed with United States Postal service as a rural mail carrier.  He was a 32nd degree Mason and a long time member of SaltPetre Christian Baptist Church.
 
His life and accomplishments will be celebrated with a visitation at Young Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 13, 2013, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM at SaltPetre Christian Baptist Church with Reverend Frank Copley adn Reverend Richard Maynard officiating.  Burial in the Lynch cemetary with military honors will follow.

Cynthia Cossin

1927 - 2013

Cynthia Cossin, age 85, of Adams, KY died Friday, February 22, 2013 at Martin Medical Center of Stuart, FL.  Cynthia was born April 16, 1927 in Adams, KY. She is the daughter of the late Martin Vanburen Whitt and the late Elva (Hylton) Whitt.

She was a Homemaker.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Cossin, who died in 2007.

She is survived by two sons, Carl S. Cossin of Louisa, KY, and Martin Cossin of Centerburg, OH;  Sister of one brother; Lloyd Moore of Galloway, OH; She also has two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday April 14th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
Family and Friends are gathering at noon.

Dora Mae Adkins Pack Kirk

1926 - 2013

Dora Mae Adkins Pack Kirk, 86, of Louisa, Ky. passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, April 8, 2013 at J.J. Jordan Geriatric Center in Louisa, Ky. She was born November 1, 1926 in Louisa, Ky. a daughter of the late George Franklin and Ollie Hewlett Adkins. She was a retired nurse who worked at Bellefonte Hospital and Riverview Hospital in Louisa.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Pack, one daughter, Virginia (Sis) Leah Pack; one son, Chester (Chuck) Allen Pack; two sister, Mary Emily Adkins Burchett; Ollie Myrtle Adkins; four brothers, Willard Adkins, Ernest Adkins, Ora Willis Adkins and Lawrence Ray Adkins.

Survivors include, two daughters, Glenda  "Jim" Dotson of Louisa, Ky., and Beverly L. Pack of Louisa, Ky.; one son, Bill Jim "Shila" Pack of Louisa, Ky. and one brother, Dallas Adkins. Grandchildren, Cindy "Jimmy" Shepard, Jimmy "Melissa" Dotson, Angel "Brad" Derifield, Wendy Adkins, Karen Pack, Christy "Jeff" Curnutte, Rick Gussler, Scott Gussler and Kellyn Gussler. 18 Great Grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Guy Moyer officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 til 9:00 PM at Young Funeral Home.

Lucille Robertson

1949 - 2013

Lucille Robertson, 64, of Fort Gay, W.Va. passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin Hospice House in Huntington, W.V. She was born March 28, 1949 in Fort Gay, W.Va. a daughter of Hazel Robertson and the late Frank Dewey Robertson. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her father Frank Dewey Robertson she was preceded in death by two brothers, Maxie Robertson of Columbus, Ohio and Lawrence Robertson of Fort Gay, W.Va.

Survivors include, four sisters, Myrtle Endicott of Wayne, W.Va.; Anna Lee Robinette of Chapman, Ky.; Carolynn Biggans of Sterling Heights, MI.; and Susie Damron of Louisa, Ky.; three brothers, Calvin Robertson of Louisa, Ky.; Woodrow Robertson of Fort Gay, W.Va.; and Jerry Robinson of Louisa, Ky.;

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Oak Grove Church, Fort Gay, W.Va. with Rev. Mack Ray Cyrus officiating. Burial will follow at the Robertson Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00 til 9:00 PM Wednesday at Oak Grove Church.

 

James Milton Prince 

1934 - 2013

James Milton Prince, 78, of Adams, Ky. passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at his home. He was born December 17, 1934 in Adams, Ky. a son of the late James Dewey Mason and Effie Garnet Nolan Prince. He was a retired dozer operator for Ky. May Coal, he was a United States Army Veteran and he attended Isaac Park Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death one brother, William Herbert Prince and one sister, Freda Howell.

Survivors include his loving wife, Frances Prince of Adams, Ky.; one daughter, Brenda (Charlie) Kirk of Adams, Ky.; one son, Jim (Lisa) Prince of Adams, Ky.; three brothers, Manley Prince of Columbus, Ohio; John Prince of Adams, Ky.; and Wilson Prince also of Adams, Ky.; one granddaughter, Tammy Ferguson of Sitka, Ky.; two step granddaughters, Santana DeFoe of Louisa, Ky.; Cheyenne Skeens also of Louisa, Ky.; 3 Great Grandchildren, 5 step Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Isaac Park Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Copley and Rev. Rick Osborne officiating. Birial will follow at the Prince Family Cemetery, Adams, Ky.

Visitation will be 5:00 til 9:00 PM Saturday at Isaac Park Freewill Baptist Church.
