Imogene Fannin

1929 - 2013

Imogene Fannin, 83, of Blaine, Ky. passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Paul B. Ball Medical Center in Paintsville, Ky. She was born July 30, 1929 in Fort Gay, W.Va. a daughter of the late Charlie and Rosanne Perkins Wheeler. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Felty Fannin and several children.

Survivors include, seven daughters, Goldie Fannin of Virginia; Nolie Thornsbury of Morehead, Ky.; Velvie Mayhan of Blaine, Ky.; Pearl Christian of Huntington, W.Va.; Lori Fannin of Louisville, Ky.; Jenna Bell of Louisville, Ky.; Brenda Fannin of Florida; six sons, Henry Fannin of Louisa, Ky.; Delbert Fannin of Ironton, Ohio; Elbert Fannin of Chilocothe, Ohio; Andy Fannin of Louisville, Ky.; James Fannin of Ashland, Ky.; Delmer Lee Fannin of Louisa, Ky.; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Old Path Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Kelley officiating. Burial will follow at the Fannin Cemetery, Rush, Ky.

Visitation will be 3:00 til 9:00 PM Friday at Old Path Baptist Church. Young Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
