UPDATE: Wanted Fugitive Located;
The Charleston West Virgina Police Department have located and arrested James G. Stepp. Details of the arrest are currently not available for release.
Bank robbery suspect identified, KSP asks for public's help in finding him;
( Ashland, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police in Ashland is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted fugitive from Louisa, KY.
James G. Stepp, age 33, is wanted by the Kentucky State Police on the following charge:
Robbery 2nd Degree
The charge stems from the continued investigation of the Inez Deposit Bank robbery which occurred on Friday June 14, 2013.

Inez Deposit Bank Louisa robbery

(Ashland, KY) -- On Friday June 14, 2013 The Kentucky State Police Post 14 Ashland received a call of a robbery at the Inez Deposit Bank located at 202 East Main Street Louisa, KY.
At approximately 1455 hours an unidentified male entered the bank and demanded cash from a teller. The male was wearing a red and black baseball cap, khaki pants, long sleeve patterned shirt over a white tee shirt with the letters WAX visible on the front of the shirt.
The male obtained an undisclosed amount of cash before exiting the bank through the back door. The male then fled the area on foot on Lock Avenue traveling toward Madison Street.
The male is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a slender build.
The following agencies responded and assisted during the course of the investigation: Louisa Police Department and Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.
The case remains under investigation by Detective Jeff Kelley.
