Lawrence grand jury indictments include burglary, grand theft auto;

LOUISA, Ky. -- A Lawrence County grand jury handed down a whopping 18 indictments Friday including grand theft auto, burglary,1st degree trafficking in a controlled substance and several others.

Included in the indictments was a charge of Theft by Unlawful Taking over $10,000 (auto), a Class C felony.

Jason B Holcomb-French, 29, of Gallipolis, Ohio on or about August 24, 2012 acting alone or in complicity with Sara M. Wandling committed the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking over $10,000 (Auto) by knowingly and unlawfully taking or exercising control over a 2002 Pontiac Formula Firebird automobile valued at $16,160. with the intent to deprive the owner, James Pinson with Big Blue Auto Auto of Louisa, Ky.

Sarah M. Wandling, 30, of Gallipolis, Ohio on or about August 24, 2012 acting alone or in complicity with Jason B. Holcomb-French committed the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking over $10,000 (auto) by knowingly and unlawfully taking or excersing control over a 2002 Pontiax Formula Firebird auto valued at $16,160 from James Pinson of Big Blue Auto, Louisa, Ky.

Lillian C. Perry, 33, of Louisa, Ky. on or before August 22, 2012 committed the offense of Receiving Stolen Property under $10,000 by knowingly and unlawfully being in physical possession of two air conditioners stolen from the home of Mr. Acie Pack of Louisa, Ky.with the value exceeding $600.

Terry Stambaugh, 48, of Sitka, Ky. from Dec. 5, 2011 thru a period ending on Nov. 12, 2012 in Lawrence County, Ky. committed the offense of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd degree by knowingly and unlawfully with intent to defraud, deceive or injure another, utters or possesses a forged check belonging to Jewell Stambaugh (deceased) and cashed at WalMart of Louisa, Ky.

Penalty 1-5 years and fine of not more than $10,000.

John Curtis Spillman, 29, of Louisa, Ky. on or before 31st day of January, 2013 persistently failed to provide support which he knows he has a duty to supply by virtue of a court order entered in Lawrence Circuit Court and is in arrearage in the amount of approximately $13,427.23 for the period from June June 10, 2009 through Januaty 31, 2013.

IsaacIsaacWalkerWalkerGregory T. Isaac, II, 29, Louisa, Ky. was indicted on four counts including Trafficking in the first degree (1st) / Complicity, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance within 1,000 ft. of a school/complicity (2 counts), Possession of marijuana, Possession/use of drug paraphernalia/complicity. 

On or about Nov. 8, 2012 Isaac, acting alone on in complicity with Sarah B. Walker was found in possession of more than 2 grams of heroin with the intent to resell, Isaac and Walker are also charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (Suboxone) within 1,000 ft. of a school, The pair were also in possession of controlled substances, Alprazolam and Trimodal within 1,000 ft. of a school with the intent to traffick the substances. Both are charged with possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia including syringes, hypodermic needles, scales, pipes, cutting knifes and burnt spoons.

Dalton, 29, Catlettsburg, Ky. and Zandol Parrigan, 42, of Little Blaine Creek Rd., Louisa  on or about Jan. 16, 2013 committed the offense of Trafficking in a controlled substance in the 1st degree by possessing with the intent to resell Oxycodone. The three are also charged in separate indictments with 3rd degree possession of Alprazolam, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substances not in the proper container. Childers and Dalton were also charged with being Persistent Felony Offenders.

Casey E. Holbrook, 29, Louisa is charged with 2nd degree burglary when on January 25, 2013 he, acting alone or in complicity with Brian K. Wolford, 30, of Louisa, Ky. committed the crime of burglary when he unlawfully entered the home of Mr. Dale Hensley located on the Left Fork of Little Blaine with the intent to commit the crime of theft. The pair are also charged with possession of burglary tools and with being persistent felony offenders having been convicted of another felony within the past five years. The two were charged in separate indictments.

Evans, 23, Yellow Creek Rd., Louisa, Ky is charged with First Degree Burglary when on August 22, 2012 he, alone or in complicity with Adam Perry, 35, Louisa, Ky. and Thomas J. Evans, 25, entered the home of Acie Pack of Louisa with the intent to commit the crime of theft. The three are indicted on similar charges separately. Ralph Evans is also charged with intimidating a witness and Perry as a persistent felony offender.


Stephen M. Neal, II, 37, of Blaine Creek Rd. Louisa, Ky. is charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, possession of drug paraphernalia, and controlled substance not in original container. The grand jury states that on or before Jan.18, 2013 Neal committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance (Oxycodone). He was also in possession of a syringe and had control substance not in the proper container.

Jamie S. Shritter, 56, Ft. Gay, W.Va. is charged with 1st degree posession of a controlled substance (Oxycodone) and 2nd degree possession of controlled substance (Hydrocodone) on June 2, 2012. He is also charged with tampering with evidencepossession of drug paraphenalia (syringe), Operating vehicle with expired license plates, no insurance, and no registration.

Bobby J. Adkins, 34, Louisa, Ky. was charged by the grand jury when on or about Feb. 21, 2013 he committed the offense of 3rd degree assault when he caused physical injury to police officer Darvin Marsillett while the officer was performing his official duty. He is also charged with obstructing governmental operations by threatening the use of violence, resisting arrest, failure to have operator's license in possession, No/expired registration, and no proof of  insurance.
