MissyAPRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS!  HAPPY SPRING!

The Lawrence County Men's Golf League just wrapped up week 5 of play.  As on Monday, April 29th the point leaders are as follows:

15.5 Victor Swinney
14 Sam Sumpter
14 Drew Waller
13.5 Bill Jackson
13 Tom Copley
13 Jim Allen

Next week they will be playing the front nine.

Our golf outings kick off this Saturday, May 4 with Trinity Christian School.  They will be hosting a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.  The number one tee will only be closed from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.  Regular golf may tee off prior to the shotgun, and anytime after 10:30 a.m.

Saturday, May 11 - Little Dawgs Golf Outing, 9:00 a.m. Shotgun - The #1 tee will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Saturday, May 18 - Louisa Rotary Club Golf Outing, 9:30 a.m. shotgun - The #1 tee will be closed from 9:30 a.m. until approximately 11:45 a.m.

THE GOLF COURSE WILL NOT BE CLOSED FOR THE ABOVE GOLF OUTINGS, PLEASE CALL AHEAD TO CHECK ON COURSE STATUS, THANK YOU!!

2013 Golf Passes are available and may be purchased now!  We offer single, senior, couples, and family passes and the good news is that pass rates are the same as 2012.  For a full listing of pass options and pricing please visit our website at www.parks.ky.gov.

The Lawrence County Men's League played Tuesday night, April 23rd!  It was a beautiful night playing the front nine during week 4!

Low Gross of the night with a 39 Farrell Sturgill
Low Net of the night with a 28 was Farrell Sturgill
Fewest Putts was Bill Jackson with 12
and the sharp shooters with the most Greens in Regulation were Dan Preece, Drew Waller and Sam Sumpter with 5 greens

It was a GREAT night of golf! Farrell Sturgill was on fire!!!   We would like to welcome our newest members who have joined the league during the last few weeks:
Charlie Curnutte, Craig Blakenship, Dean Stinebring, and Robert Allen
