Ron Paul for the past year.

Governor A.S. "Happy" Chandler meets and greets during one of his campaignes. Shown here with the Louisa High majorettes in 19??.

Of course the bodies are a little bit exaggerated, but the faces of Betty and Jim Young should be familiar to many of our viewers. --Mike Coburn

FT. Bishop on Town Hill
I took this picture of Fort Bishop on Town Hill copied in detail by Dr. John
Ryan. I think that it has fallen apart by this time. I took this picture
on this front porch about 15 years ago, he was going to wrap it up and store
it away somewhere. Of course the fort was never completed on Town Hill as
the war ended.

The construction of the Old Mayo Trail, once Route 23, now called Route 3. My mother, Zelda Ekers Bradley, took this picture around 1926-27. The location is near the Bill Maddy Farm just outside of Fallsburg, KY. My Grandfather, William (Uncle Bill) Ekers is the tall gentleman, center front and was the supervisor of the road crew. The mules belonged to him. A bulldozer and a team of mules equal "teamwork".
William Chadwick, father of Edith Chadwick Bradley and grandfather of Carolyn Wood and Reva Hampton, worked with the engineers. Perhaps others will recognize or remember a relative that worked on this project.
