SERVICES: This faith-based residential program assists individuals in recovering from drug and alcohol addiction and the life-controlling problems associated with it. In addition, residents work on overcoming rebellion and the self-destructive behaviors associated with their substance abuse and developing positive life skills. Residents participate in spiritual growth activities, individual counseling, and choir.

SERVICES: Free health information, reduced or no cost prescription medications through various programs, eye exams and eyeglasses through various programs, hearing aids at reduced rates, reduced fee for dental services, including low cost dentures, sliding fee referrals to access low-cost doctor visits/certain providers, Medicare D information. KY Homeplace is not limited to health care needs only. We attempt to assist any client with any needs he/she may have through contacts, resources and research to meet individual needs. ELIGIBILITY: 60+ Physically disabled or frail as a result of a medical condition or age. Mentally confused and require supervision to prevent injury and to assure proper nutrition. Due to emotional or social needs, could benefit from individualized attention. A person under 60 needs to have diagnosis of probable Alzheimer's or related disorder.

SERVICES: Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, Wintercare, Emergency Food and Shelter, Rural Transportation, Child Care Resource and Referral, Child Care Assistance Program, Head Start, HSTARS (training & technical assistance to local Head Start staff. ELIGIBILITY: Wintercare. households are then screened and approved for payments of their utility bills from the donations received.
Emergency Food and Shelter. funding may be used to purchase food, prevent utility disconnects, or provide temporary shelter due to fire, flooding, or loss of income.
Rural Transportation. for senior citizens and handicapped individuals. Participants are given the opportunity to go to Senior Centers for nutritious meals or socialization. Transportation is also provided for grocery shopping, doctor’s office visits, Adult Day Care, and other necessary appointments.
Child Care Assistance Program. To be eligible, child care must be needed for: a parent working 20 hours a week or to protect a child; to attend high school through age 19; to pursue a GED or a postsecondary education.

SERVICES: Emergency shelter and advocacy center that provides free confidential, caring and supportive services to all domestic violence and sexual assault victims. 24 hour crisis hotline staffed by certified domestic violence counselors, food and clothing assistance, legal, court, hospital and victim advocacy, housing assistance, individual and family counseling, drug and alcohol education, children’s programming, domestic violence support groups and education, life skills education, referral assistance, safety planning education, follow-up services, education and career assistance, on-going victim treatment services.
