1941 - 2012

Eva Lena Colvin, 70, of Louisa passed away Saturday June 23, 2012 at Three Rivers Medical Center  after a short illness. Born December 22, 1941 in Morgan's Creek, Ky. a daughter of the late Winfred D. and Goldie Edith Leadingham Burchett, she was a Materials Manager at Three Rivers Medical Center for 33 years. She was a member of the Lighthouse Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Colvin of Louisa, one daughter; Brenda Roberts Ward, and one step-daughter; Vicki Gravely, Raliegh, NC, two stepsons; Bobby Colvin, Niageria, NY., and Gary Colvin, Louisa, Ky., five sisters; Jean Bentley and Fredia Laney, both of Louisa, Rose McMillian and Mary Love, of Raymond, OH., and Edie Longworth, Newport, Michigan, one brother; John Burchett, Plain City, Ohio, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, June 25, 2012 at Young Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Bevins and Greg Caudill officiating. Burial will be at Greelawn Cemetery under the direction of Young Funeral Home, Louisa, Ky.  

Visitation will be 6-9 pm Sunday at Young Funeral Chapel with the family gathering at 5:00 pm.
