Albert Ray Elliott, 75, of Ft. Gay, W.Va. passed away Dec. 12, 2011 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Ky. after a sudden illness. Born June 10, 1936 in Genoa, W.Va., a son of the late Millard and Vada Williamson Elliott, Albert was a coal miner. He was also preceded in death by one sister; Rowena Kirk and two brothers, Charlie Elliott and Harvey Elliott.

Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Linda Jane Elliott, of Ft. Gay, W.Va. Other survivors include one stepdaughter; Karen C. Muncy of Ft. Gay, W.Va., one sister; Bertha Branham, of Inez, Ky., two brothers; Filmore Elliott of Genoa, W.Va., and Elijah Elliott, Cleveland, Ohio, and one stepgrandchild, Jennifer Lynn Cyrus.

Graveside services will be Friday, December 16, 2011at Sol Copley Cemetery, Genoa, W.Va. at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Donna Aros and Rev. Mack Ray Cyrus officiating.Young Funeral Home of Louisa, Ky. is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Thursday at his home.
