LOUISA, KY – Kentucky State Representative Jill York is set to dedicate a section of the Country Music Highway  (HWY 23 in Eastern Kentucky) on Friday to The Voice (Season 8 / Team Blake) contestant Kelsie May. Kelsie is a native of the region, and has been building a steady following over the past four years since her national television debut on NBC.

“Kelsie is an incredibly gifted artist with an equally beautiful spirit. She’s learned from some of the greatest artists in the world and incorporated a piece of each one into her own unique sound and style. The combination is stunning,” says Bernard Porter, President and Founder of PCG Nashville. “We feel very privileged to work with her and help hone her God given talent. Kelsie is that rare artist who has a magic combination of presence, voice, song, and character.”

Kelsie recently signed with Blue Sapphire Music, distributed through Sony RED/The Orchard, and recently released her latest single “Driving” July 6th. Just  Out TODAY Click HERE

Either somebody has a lot of pull or the standards are low....if it's the latter then Bobby Cyrus should be considered.

Quoting Jim Slade:
She is talented with a bright future but this recognition is way too early.

I agree....let her get more established before you put in the company of legends.
